About The Position

Burton's Collision & Auto Repair is currently seeking to fill positions for General Service Technicians in Cincinnati, OH location. We are looking for individuals who are honest, dedicated, and committed to excellent customer service.

The role of the General Service Technician is an entry-level position focused on routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations. This position will benefit from the mentorship of an experienced automotive technician to guide you through the processes. As a General Service Technician, you are a key part of upholding the integrity and dependability of Burton's Collision & Auto Repair. The ideal candidate will have some background in automotive repair, a keen ability to learn quickly, follow directions precisely, and adhere to our shop's standards. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to honesty and fairness are crucial attributes for success in this role.

General Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing general automotive maintenance and repair services across many makes and models
• Completing all work orders correctly and accurately
• Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
• Practicing safe work principles
• Shop housekeeping, i.e. keep work area clean, safe and organized
• Maintain positive customer relationships

Applicant Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
• In possession of a valid driver's license
• Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
• Dependable, honest and organized
• Available to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to receive instruction and to follow procedures
• Some or limited training in automotive repair, and committed to keeping up-to-date on automotive knowledge
• Some experience in vehicle maintenance, including the use of tools
